Does whitening hurt?
Some sensitivity is normal for 24–48 hours after in-office Zoom. We use desensitizing gel during and after the session, and pre-treat sensitive patients with potassium-nitrate paste for two weeks.In-office vs. take-home?
Same active ingredient (hydrogen peroxide), different concentration and exposure. In-office is faster and supervised; take-home is gentler and lets you maintain over time. Most patients combine both. How long does it last?
Six months to two years depending on your coffee, tea, and wine habits. Touch-up trays at home keep results indefinitely.
