Dr. Patel finished dental school at ASDOH in 2008 and worked for a corporate DSO for four years before founding BrightSmile. The model: salaried dentists, generous appointment lengths, no production quotas. Twelve years later, four of the original five chairs are still in use — just with more plants around them.
